It's always nice when one of your favorite bands plays only two miles from your house... Dark Star Orchestra played a great show at the Bottle and Cork on Thursday night and as usual, they played an outrageous set.

The rumors where swirling around the joint that they would do the last set the Grateful Dead ever played being that it was the anniversary of the Dead's last show but, I don't think so. A great time was had by all. We had our large group of locals as well as the contingency from Wilmington... Darren Krantz of Tequila Mockingbird fame, Tim Kelly of Apex Watson, Carolyn, Sue Ellen, the twins Christie and Katie, a whole slew of others and the band came over to the house to party until the sun came up.
